So our baby boy is 3 months old today! I can't believe how fast the time is going. We don't go to the pediatrician this month, so I'm not sure of his measurements. Here are some of his pictures from this past month:
This phot reminds me of the game "Where's Waldo?" so I call it the "Where's Dylan?" picture.
This month has been very exciting time for Dylan. He made two long trips (well, one was actually before he turned two months, but I never posted about it...oops!) When he was 8 weeks old, we traveled to Dan's hometown near Pittsburgh. I was very nervous about the car ride and thought we may be stopping very frequently to feed him. Luckily, we only needed to stop once on the way out and he slept the whole way home...the entire 4 hour car ride. He are some pics of him meeting his Grandpa Tim, Great-grandma Alice, Aunt Susy and Cousins Jenn & Jess.
The second trip was when he was 10 weeks old and was to my parents house for Dylan's Baptism. He did really well and cried only a little when the water was put on his head, mainly because he fell asleep in Daddy's arm just minutes before it happened and he was mad he had gotten woken up so soon. He also did well on the car ride there and slept the entire way home and then overnight for the first time. Yep, that right, he went 10 hours straight that night. He continued sleeping through the night for about was week, but then his a growth spurt and was waking once at night. Ever since then its hit or miss whether he wakes once or sleeps through the night. Either way, I'm so lucky to have a baby that sleeps so well! Here are some pictures from the baptism with his Godfather Jason (Dan's best friend) and Godmother Jess (My sister, who is also pregnant...Can't wait to meet Baby Kevin in early January).
Finally, my maternity leave ended last week. Dylan started in daycare three days a week. He's currently at an in-home daycare with a woman whose been doing for 20 years! I feel comfortable with him there, but would still love to be home with him every day. I feel like I'm missing so much of him. For now, it seems like such a HUGE adjustment, but I'm hoping it starts getting easier soon.
